My dear darlings. I danced all weekend and then fell into a swoon. 12 hour work days ensued. Tonight we had a lovely baby named Penelope.

Ah, life rolls on.

Lucy the chicken is apparently happy in her new home. She is the queen chicken. The others are pullets and not even laying any eggs yet. So she rules.

We had one hundred and thirty seven mile an hour winds. The garbage cans ended up in Snohomish county. And all the leaves went WHUMP and landed on the ground en masse. Massive piles of leaves.

We head into the dark.

Let's bring out the candles and the hot cocoa. Seven weeks to midwinter.

I love your picture. I have been imagining that I could get a tiger to rid the rodents here in Lloyd. For just a little while. It would be like that picture. Right?
Thank you for letting us know how Lucy is. I think of her at times.
Watch out for the winds. You never know what they will blow in or out.
Penelope. What a beautiful name.

IT'S TRUE! Autumn left and slammed the door behind itself just as I was getting used to tramping through actual crackly leaves and also watching them fall etc. Ah well. It is the HIDING SEASON. Oh wait. That's all seasons. Can't we meet for dinner somewhere? Like Bengal Tiger for instance? Soon?
love,
Rebecca

Sabine-yes, and a blanket.

Mary love-Penelope is a lovely baby.

RK-Friday night at 7, I'll pick you up at 6:30, K?

I liked it better when the leaves were in the trees. I guess it's not hiding season for the branches.

Should everyone just trade for the garbage can they ended up with? Are their rules on this? Because it's happening again today! Garbage can tag.

Beth I can't wait to see you.

Same freaking thing happened here with the leaves. Not the dancing, or new chicken though I'm sure they are good things.

That header picture is magnificent and mesmerizing.

Betsy-I think we could do that. Then I'd get a garbage can that doesn't smell like a litter box.

RK-See you tomorrow!

Mel-you have to be calm to share your food with a tiger.
