Bering carried on this line between water and sky is beyond words. Getting a massage is nice, being hugged is lovely but swimming...being held and rocked by the water, swallowing a bit of the lake, imagining the fish and water plants beneath me. The motion of swimming, stroking and kicking and gliding through the surface. I could go on. It has turned cold again here but I think we're headed for another warm week. I'll be there, anxiously waiting for the feel of the water on my skin. I do savor every bath and shower I take because I love water. You reminded me how good it feels to swim in salt water or in lakes. The last time I swam in a lake I wore cut-off Levis and a bathing suit top. That was years ago in the 1980s. The last time I swam in the ocean was in San Diego in the summer of 1973, wearing cut-off Levis and a bathing suit top. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, I swam laps regularly in an indoor pool while wearing a leotard. I'm going to think about creating some variation on the Levis and bathing suit top again. You've got me thinking about the possibility of swimming in Lake Whatcom or the Salish Sea. Thank you!amhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09212213177713917828noreply@blogger.com
